Academic Life

I analyzed academic processes when I was a young scholar. As a professor, student dialogues present an abundance of confusing or challenging issues. Being a first-generation college student and a woman in academe, I am always on the lookout for opportunities to serve as a role model for students coming up behind me. My advising is coaching, but I was only aiding a select set of pupils. I desired to work on a broader scale and disseminate best practices so that academic performance is not contingent on access to inside information. If my writing helps you achieve your goals or makes your path a bit less stressful by providing awareness or insight, I will consider this endeavor a success.
