It is mostly based on Ottoman cuisine, which is a fusion and refinement of Mediterranean, Balkan, Middle Eastern, Central Asian, and Eastern European cuisines. Turkish cuisine has affected those and other neighboring cuisines, including Southeast European (Balkans), Central European, and Western European cuisines.

Manti

Dumplings called manti are a staple in the cuisines of the South Caucasus, Balkans, Central Asia, and Afghanistan. The meal originally originated in the Central Asian republics, but its popularity quickly extended to China's Muslim population and then to the rest of the post-Soviet world. Annnddd it is my favorite dish.

Kuru Kofte

The most popular dish in Turkish cuisine is meatballs. It is a festive dish in Turkish culture.

Eksili Kofte Corbasi 

Yuvarlakia, or giouvarlakia, is a Greek dish consisting of meatballs, rice, and seasonings that are cooked in water or meat broth in a saucepan.
